Overview
ELAINE is a marketing platform that enables businesses to manage recipient profiles, orchestrate marketing automation campaigns, and deliver triggered transactional messages. The ELAINE API allows external systems, such as CDPs, to interact with these capabilities by sending recipient data and triggering specific marketing actions based on events or desired outcomes. This Integration with Zeotap enables you to send Event Data to Elaine.Prerequisites
To enable this integration, you must have the following prerequisites obtained from your ELAINE account:- An active ELAINE account with access to the API.
- You must have an ELAINE Base URL
- You must have an API Key (You can contact your Elaine POC to obtain the API Key)
- Defined Events and Campaigns
Supported Identifiers
ELAINE supports identifying and matching recipients primarily using:- Customer Email
Creating a Destination
Click Elaine Trigger Events Lists. A screen appears displaying details about the particular destination towards the left. On the right-hand side of the screen find a list of fields that are required for the integration to be established. Enter the required details as mentioned in the following steps:a. Enter a name for the Destination.b. Enter the Access Token.c. Enter the Base URL .d. Enter the Event Name.
In the new screen that appears, choose the appropriate Action and mapping as explained below.a. Choose the desired action under Choose your Action and then choose the corresponding identifiers under Map the Fields. By default, the Output Identifiers that are accepted by the platform, Profile ID is displayed. However, you can edit, add, or remove an identifier from the list.b. Mandatory Fieldsi. Customer Emailc. Activate the Destination on Journeys
After creating a destination, next, you need to link it in the Send to Destination node within the workflow, as explained below.Under the Destination Details tab, the Access Token and Ad Account ID fields are automatically populated based on the value that you have entered while creating the destination.
