To simplify the Audience creation and definition process, we have partnered with Google’s Vertex AI and developed an AI-based Audience builder. You can use this feature to describe your Audience criteria in simple English, which in turn produces the conditional blocks, which otherwise is a manual effort. This feature, named Ada in honour of the first woman programmer, enables you to input prompts, automatically generating conditional blocks. You can rewrite the prompts to obtain diverse outcomes and manually edit conditional blocks as needed. The below video summarises the Audience creation process through the AI-based Audience Builder, Ada.

What are the Key Benefits of Ada?

The following are the key benefits that Ada offers to a marketer:
  • Effortless Audience Creation – Marketers can utilise the AI-based Audience builder to create Audiences without the need for complex technical skills. They can describe their target Audience criteria in plain English, making the process simpler.
  • Time-Saving – The tool automates the generation of conditional blocks, which would otherwise require manual effort. Marketers can save time and reduce the potential for human error in creating Audience criteria.
  • Allow Customisation – Marketers have the flexibility to modify and fine-tune the prompts. This allows them to tailor the Audience criteria to achieve specific marketing goals and obtain diverse outcomes.

Step-by-Step Process

Let’s say, you want to use Ada with the prompt “All users who are male and are loyalty members and have performed an add to cart in the last 30 days”.
1
Enter this prompt in the field shown below and click Generate Audience.
2
The AI system automatically generates the conditional blocks/criteria for your Audience, as shown in the image below. In this case, the prompt “All users who are male and are loyalty members and have performed an add to cart in the last 30 days” breaks down into two conditional blocks. The first block defines profile attributes, such as Gender and being a Loyalty member, while the second block defines the event “add to cart” within the last 30 days.
In this way, you can make use of Ada to simplify your Audience creation process.
