The incoming data can be directly associated with the customer such as their identifier. In addition, it can also be entity data associated with the customer through the entity’s identifier like transactional data, account data and product catalogue information. Zeotap collects both types of data to create a customer profile enriched with both customer and entity-related information. By using this, businesses can gain a thorough understanding of their audience and create more effective marketing strategies. Zeotap supports the following two groups of data entities:
Note:In order to ingest data into Zeotap CDP and create customer profiles, each source/entity data record must contain at least one unique identifier. For customer data, the identifier must refer to a specific customer, such as email, cellphone, user id, cookies and more. However, for entities, it must represent the entity itself, such as order id, product id, account id and more.Note that customer and NCE catalogue attributes cannot be shared across these entity groups.
