User Deletion Enhancements
(Released on 24-07-2023) We have introduced the ability to delete users from the Zeotap system by defining appropriate segmentation conditions while creating a segment. The following are the key details:- Checkbox for User Deletion – A new checkbox, labeled “Delete Users from Unified Profile in Zeotap,” has been added. To initiate the deletion of a cohort of customers who meet the segment criteria, simply select this checkbox.
- Bulk Deletion – Once the checkbox is selected, the segment proceeds to delete all qualified users from the Zeotap system, based on the configured refresh frequency. This option empowers administrators to perform bulk deletions efficiently. Note that this feature is disabled by default to prevent inadvertent deletions.
- Viewing Deleted User Information – You can view the deleted customers, including their UCIDs and the associated segment names, from the “DELETED PROFILES” tab within “Customer 360” in the Zeotap CDP App.
Audience (Beta)
(Released on 13-07-2023) Audience is a powerful tool that empowers you to unleash the full potential of your first-party customer data. As a marketer, you can convert your offline customer data into digital format and connect the online activities across various devices to a single identifier. This unified view of the customer spans all platforms and devices, providing valuable insights. With Audience, you can create customer segments or cohorts by using identifiers such as Phone numbers, Email addresses, Device Ids, Cookies, CRM IDs and more. These cohorts can then be activated by linking them to destinations. This enables you to tailor your marketing strategies effectively. Further to this, Audience offers A/B Testing, which allows the creation of different variations of a cohort and establishes separate connections with each variation. (Released on 13-07-2023) The ID Prioritisation feature allows you to group your IDs into different buckets such asPrimary ID, Secondary ID or Disabled ID. For example, designate accurate and persistent identifiers as Primary ID, while others can be classified as Secondary ID or Disabled ID. It also provides flexibility to customise the priority of your IDs within each bucket. For instance, assign higher priority to your internal customer identifiers like User ID over other identifiers like email or cellphone number.
By default, all IDs within their respective buckets are assigned a priority level of 1. However, you can change the priority within the buckets or move an ID from one bucket to another based on your requirement. The priority level can extend up to 5 levels.
