Bring subscriber data from a Cleverpush channel into Zeotap CDP with the Cleverpush (Batch) source.
The Cleverpush (Batch) source brings subscriber data from a Cleverpush channel into Zeotap CDP. It is the batch counterpart of the Cleverpush Real-Time Source. To send audiences in the opposite direction — out of Zeotap CDP to Cleverpush — use the Cleverpush destination for batch delivery, or the Cleverpush Real Time Integration for real-time delivery.
Cleverpush is a web-based platform that enables website owners and developers to send to users who have subscribed to receive them.In the Zeotap CDP App it sits under the Customer Engagement Channels source category, alongside the other engagement platforms listed on Customer Engagement Channels.
The source fetches information related to the subscribers of a channel, such as the subscription ID, channel ID, created_at, country, custom attributes and segments. The Subscription ID is the identifier the Cleverpush destination needs in order to send audiences back to Cleverpush. Connecting this source is one of the two documented ways to obtain it; the other is ingesting it from a flat file.
You need the following from your Cleverpush account before you create the source:
Private API Key — a unique identifier associated with your Cleverpush account, used to authenticate and authorise access to certain features or APIs of Cleverpush. In the Cleverpush console, it is shown under Settings, then API in the left panel.
Channel ID — the unique identifier assigned to the push notification channel you create within Cleverpush. It is shown on the channel’s platform under General > Advance Settings > Channel ID.
A channel must exist, and have at least one platform set up on it, before it has a Channel ID. Zeotap CDP supports Web Push, App Push and Email Push. For the channel-creation and platform-setup steps, see the Cleverpush channel and platform setup appendix.
In the Zeotap CDP App, open the Sources application under Integrate and click CREATE SOURCE. Choose Customer Engagement Channels as the category and Cleverpush as the data source, then give the source a short, descriptive name, select the Region of upload, enter the Private API Key and the Channel ID, and choose the Data Entity — either Customer Data or Non Customer Data (what these mean). For the full click-path with screenshots, see Create a Cleverpush (Batch) Source.
