App events refer to specific actions or interactions that occur within a mobile application and are tracked to gather valuable data about user behaviour. These events provide insights into how users engage with the app, what actions they take and how they navigate through different screens or features. To collect customer data in mobile applications, we integrate our native Android and iOS SDKs (Software Development Kits). These SDKs track user interactions and capture events within the app. App events can capture a wide range of user activities, such as app launches, screen views, button clicks, form submissions, in-app purchases, video plays and more. By tracking events associated with user acquisition, such as app installs or in-app purchases, app owners can assess the ROI of their marketing efforts and make data-driven decisions to optimise their advertising strategies.
