What this is
The HubSpot Source brings customer records from your HubSpot account into Zeotap CDP. HubSpot is a CRM platform that helps you gather and use data to engage with your customers; connecting it as a Source means the customer information you already keep there is collected alongside the other data you send to Zeotap CDP, so you can understand your customers better, create appealing content and build strong connections. To send data the other way — out of Zeotap CDP and into HubSpot — see the HubSpot destination, which covers pushing contacts and contact lists to your HubSpot account. The HubSpot Source sits in the CRM Data source category, alongside Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Salesforce CRM. For the category as a whole, see CRM Data. Each source you create reads one HubSpot standard object — either Contacts or Companies — and only the fields you select from that object. The first sync runs once the source is created; after that, Zeotap CDP re-reads HubSpot on the sync frequency you chose, fetching either the complete dataset each time or only the changes since the previous run.Next steps
Create a HubSpot Source covers the two stages of setting the integration up. First, on the HubSpot side, you create a private app and copy the bearer token it issues. Then, in the Zeotap CDP App, you create the source under the CRM Data category, supply that token, choose the standard object, sync frequency and fetch mode, and select the fields to ingest.Choose the fields with care. Field selection cannot be edited after the source is created — changing it means creating a new source in Zeotap CDP.
