What’s New in Q2 of 2022?

Learn about the new features released in Q2 of 2022.

DIY Catalogue

(Released on 22-Jun-2022) The new interface of our existing Data Catalogue gives you the control to prepare, define and onboard your data sources without waiting for catalogue fields to be first added manually into your account. The DIY Catalogue offers the following:
  • A central place to view and look up all attributes in your organisation’s catalogue
  • Ability to create new catalogue fields using a simple UI wherein we provide recommendations (from global catalogue) for matching fields and prompt you if the field is already part of the catalogue
  • Option to save the source field to catalogue field mappings at one place and reuse for all future sources
  • Enhancements in the Consent and Marketing preference field creation process by moving them under the Catalogue section as a category

Audience Estimator

(Released on 24-May-2022) In the Connect module, we have introduced a new feature named Audience Estimator that provides you the estimated audience size while creating, editing or viewing the segment. You do not have to wait until the end when the segment is successfully run. You can take an informed decision based on what is the estimated number versus the actual number. To know more about Audience Estimator, refer here.

Source Analytics

(Released on 19-May-2022) Source Ingestion Analytics gives you a complete view of your data ingestion lifecycle, right from when the file is dropped, resolved and ingested ready for audience segmentation and activation. Source Analytics offers the following benefits:
  • Complete visibility on data sources and customer records ingested into Zeotap CDP through intuitive graphs and charts
  • Faster identification and resolution of ingestion-related issues
To know more about Source Analytics, refer to the following links:
NoteFor existing Zeotap CDP customers: the data contained within the Source Ingestion Analytics dashboard reflects the count from March 7, 2022 (beta release).

Raw PII

(Released on 05-Apr-2022) Zeotap accepts both hashed as well as Raw PII (Personally identifiable information) into your Zeotap account. The RAW PII data accessibility happens without compromising on the data governance and security. Here are some important points that summarize how the Raw PII works:
  • Raw PII can come from any source like flat files, JavaScript, pixels and mobile SDKs. Irrespective of the source, the common steps to be followed is to define your Raw PII in your org’s catalogue.
  • RSA Encryption Algorithm is the encryption algorithm that we use.
  • After the data is pushed to any destination that requires raw PII data, that data is decrypted and shared with the async key generated for your organisation.
  • Your data in the BigQuery or GCS buckets can only be accessed by users who have the role of a Client Admin and Editor in Collect.
To know more about Raw PII, refer here.

Next Refresh Date

(Released on 04-Apr-2022)  As a marketer, it’s essential to have a clear view of the next refresh cycle and to know about the segments that have auto-refresh enabled. We have enhanced our user interface to display the following information (when hovering over the calendar icon in the listing screen of Connect):
  • When is the next refresh going to happen?
  • What is the refresh frequency?
  • When is the refresh end date?

New Destination Integrations

The below Destinations are now available in the Zeotap CDP App.

LinkedIn

(Released on 23-Feb-2022) LinkedIn is the world’s largest professional network, with 810 million members in more than 200 countries worldwide. This key integration allows marketers to target prospects and existing customers on LinkedIn based on first-party data. To know more about Linkedin, refer here.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud - Data Extension

(Released on 04-Feb-2022) Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) is Salesforce’s platform (or “Cloud”) in the area of marketing automation and customer engagement. It allows marketers to create and manage marketing relationships and campaigns with customers. To know more about Adobe Marketo, refer here.

Adobe Marketo

(Released on 03-Feb-2022) Adobe Marketo is a marketing automation platform that powers email campaigns to drive lead generation, lead nurture, marketing personalisation and campaign efficiency goals. With this integration, marketers can import email lists containing raw email addresses for campaign activation or update email addresses within an existing list, to match customer behaviour with campaign goals. Google Customer Match integration enhanced to include Google DV360

Zeotap is one of only five Google Customer Match partners worldwide that have an integration with Google’s Display & Video 360 (Google DV360). This enhancement enables marketers to use online and offline first-party data to reach and re-engage with customers that are also Google users. To know more about this enhancement and how the Google Customer Match integration works, refer here.

New Source Integrations

The below source types are now available in the Zeotap CDP App.

Salesforce CRM

(Released on 22-Jul-2022) You can now import data from the Salesforce CRM into the Collect module. We support data sync from three standard objects - Account, Contact and Lead. The first data sync takes place once you create the source and the subsequent syncs take place based on the refresh frequency that you select. To know more about the Salesforce CRM source and how to implement it, refer here.

SFTP

(Released on 24-Jun-2022) We have introduced the SFTP source that enables you to onboard your user data as flat files into Zeotap’s SFTP server in the form of CSV or JSON files. The SFTP source supports first-party and third-party identifiers, including customer IDs, emails, phone numbers, MAIDS and cookies. To know more about the SFTP source and how to implement it, refer here.

Android SDK

(Released on 19-May-2022) We have introduced the Android SDK to ingest Android app data into the Zeotap CDP. It is a natively built data collection that simplifies the process of sending data to marketing tools, such as a CDP, as there is no requirement to implement a new API every time. To know more about the Android SDK and how to implement it, refer here.
